    The Asteraix CX306P-48Y-M-H is a compact 1U aggregation/core switch with 48×25G SFP28 and 6×100G/40G QSFP28 uplinks. Built on the Marvell Prestera Falcon ASIC and delivered with an enterprise SONiC-based OS (AsterNOS), it combines wire‑rate L2/L3 switching with modern overlays such as VXLAN EVPN for scalable segmentation across campus and data-center fabrics.
    For timing‑sensitive deployments—including 5G O‑RAN fronthaul/midhaul—the platform exposes hardware time interfaces (1PPS, ToD, 10 MHz) and supports IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE. Optional GNSS input and two on‑box DPU slots enable routing, VPN, firewall/IDS, and observability workloads to run alongside switching, turning the CX306P-48Y-M-H into a converged networking platform for edge and core designs.
