The QSFP DD 800G SR8 optical transceiver module significantly enhances data transmission speeds. It is a full-duplex transceiver with eight channels that supports 800 Gigabit Ethernet. The module utilizes highly reliable and robust MPO-16 connectors, designed for multi-lane, short-range transfers.
Featuring a VCSEL array operating at 850 nm and a PIN photodetector array, the QSFP-DD module employs PAM4 technology, providing 106.25 Gbps per channel and offering superior signal quality compared to multimode fiber. It consumes less than 13.5W of power, promoting energy efficiency, and supports distances of up to 60 meters with OM3 and 100 meters with OM4 multimode fibers, utilizing Forward Error Correction (FEC).
