The 25G SFP28 optical transceiver module offers reliable short-reach connectivity that is suitable for 25 Gigabit Ethernet Applications. It operates at an 850 nm wavelength and has a VCSEL transmitter and a PIN receiver. The device is able to support distances of up to 70 meters for OM3 and 100 meters with OM4 Multimode Fiber.
The 25G optical module is equipped with a hot-pluggable design, making the module it easy to install and replace. It offers 25 Gbps of data transmission and has a low energy consumption, averaging less than 2.5 W. Digital diagnostics built in through I2C provide the monitoring of parameters in real time that improve management of networks and maintenance.
