The SFP+ 10GBASET copper transceiver module supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet connectivity via conventional Cat 6A cabling up to 30 meters. This hot-pluggable transceiver module provides affordable copper-based networking to data centers and corporate environments in which fiber deployment is not feasible.
A maximum capacity of 2.5W will ensure energy-efficient operation at 10Gbps in high-density installations. The RJ45 connector compactly connects to existing copper infrastructure, while the metallized enclosure offers EMI protection to ensure signal integrity.
TX Disable and RX Los of Signal functions allow for complete link monitoring. Multiple loopback modes allow tests and diagnosis. Complete compliance with SFF-8431 and SFF-8432 MSA IEEE 802.3az, along with IEEE 802.3an standards, ensures wide equipment compatibility. It is ideal for rack-to-rack connections, server-to-switch link, and storage networks with the 30-meter range requirements.
