The 400G QSFP112 VR4 optical transceiver delivers a 400Gbps data rate over OM4 multimode fiber up to 50m (30m on OM3), purpose-built for very-short-reach intra-data-center links, top-of-rack to spine connections, and 5G telecom transport. Using 4 lanes of 106.25Gbps PAM4 (53.125 GBd per lane) with 850nm VCSEL transmitters and PIN receivers, the module aggregates to 425Gbps of raw signaling capacity through a single MPO-12 APC receptacle, with internal CDR circuits on both the transmit and receive paths to maintain signal integrity.

The module is fully compliant with QSFP112 MSA and manages link health via CMIS 5.0 (or later) over a 2-wire serial interface, with built-in digital diagnostic monitoring covering temperature, supply voltage, and per-lane Tx/Rx optical power. It's compliant with IEEE 802.3db and IEEE 802.3ck, and RoHS certified for lead-free deployment.
