The QSFP-DD 400G SR8 transceiver supports 400G Ethernet connections in data centers, as well as other applications that require breakout connections. This optical module has eight lanes, is able to process up to 425 Gbps of data at once. Its maximum speed for each channel will be 53.125 Gbps. It can be utilized in a range of high-density networking scenarios because it can be used in a variety of configurations, from 1x 400GBASE-SR8 with 400GAUI-8, 2x 200GBASE-SR4 with 200GAUI-4, 4x 100GBASE-SR2 with 100GAUI-2, 8x 50GBASE-SR with 50GAUI-1, 2x 100GBase-SR4 with CAUI-4, 8x 25GBase-SR with 25GAUI-1.
