400G OSFP-RHS SR4 100m MPO12/APC
The 400G OSFP-RHS SR4 optical transceiver is built for short-reach interconnects in AI training and inference fabrics, data center fabrics, Ethernet storage fabrics, and HPC/supercomputing clusters, supporting both 400G Ethernet and InfiniBand applications over multimode fiber. The hot-pluggable OSFP-RHS module integrates 4 lanes of 100G PAM4 (53.125 GBd, 106.25Gbps per lane) for a total of 400Gbps of bandwidth, using an 850nm VCSEL array and PIN photodetector array through a compact MPO-12 APC receptacle.
The module delivers transmission distances of up to 70m on OM3 multimode fiber and up to 100m on OM4 multimode fiber with FEC. Built on proven VCSEL and driver/TIA circuitry with a 4:4 DSP, it's designed for long-term reliability and consistent signal performance at scale. The transceiver is fully compliant with OSFP MSA, IEEE 802.3db, and IEEE 802.3ck, and supports advanced link management via CMIS over I2C.
With built-in digital diagnostics for real-time monitoring, sub-8.5W power consumption, and a single MPO-12 receptacle that simplifies 4x100GbE breakout deployments, the SR4 is well suited for spine-leaf and disaggregated fabric designs where power efficiency and fiber management both matter.
