This is a 200GBASE-SR4 QSFP56 active optical cable with an integrated 200G PAM4 DSP. Each end contains a 4-channel 850nm VCSEL array and a 4-channel PIN photodetector array, connected through a 200GAUI-4 electrical interface. The cable transmits at an aggregate bit rate of 212.5Gb/s, with each lane operating at 26.5625 GBd/s PAM4, in compliance with IEEE 802.3cd 200GBASE-SR4. A reduced-rate mode supporting 103.1Gb/s aggregate (100GBASE-SR4 NRZ, IEEE 802.3bm) is available on request.

Maximum link length is 70m over OM3 multimode fiber and 100m over OM4 or OM5 multimode fiber. Power dissipation is rated below 5W (typical 4.1W, maximum 4.5W), drawn from a single 3.3V supply (3.13V–3.47V operating range). Operating case temperature range is 0°C to 70°C; storage temperature range is -20°C to 85°C. Minimum fiber bend radius is 3cm.

Digital diagnostic monitoring is available over the I2C management interface per CMIS V4.0; the cable is QSFP MSA compliant, RoHS compliant (lead-free), and classified as a Class 1 laser product under FDA/CDRH and CE-EMC standards.
