The SFP+ LR optical transceiver supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity via single-mode fibers up to 10 kilometers. It operates at 1310nm and features DFB lasers and PIN photodetector technology. This hot-pluggable module offers high-quality long-reach connectivity for the most demanding network environments.
The all-metal enclosure provides the highest EMI protection and thermal management, and its standard LC duplex connector is able to provide seamless integration, without interruption of service. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring allows the monitoring of parameters in real-time to ensure proactive management of networks and troubleshooting. The support for encryption in firmware increases the security of the transmission of sensitive information.
Operating from 0°C to 70°C and consuming low power consumption of less than 4V, the module complies with RoHS as well as Class 1 laser safety standards while maintaining IEEE 802.3ae compliance to ensure broad compatibility of equipment.
