Upgrade your data center with the Asterfusion CX308P-48Y-N-V2, a 48-port 25G switch equipped with 8x 100G QSFP28 uplinks. Designed for leaf/top-of-rack (ToR) deployments, this switch is powered by the Marvell Falcon chip, providing ultra-low latency, EVPN multihoming, RoCEv2 support, and so on. This switch is ideal for use in enterprise, cloud, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Enterprise SONiC (AsterNOS) provides greater stability, automation, and extensibility compared to community builds. Combined with the Marvell Falcon ASIC, this switch supports advanced telemetry, low jitter, and deterministic latency, making it ideal for AI/ML, storage, and HPC clusters.
The CX308P-48Y-N-V2 data center switches have comprehensive support for IEEE1588 PTPv2 and SMPTE 2059-2 standards. Both hardware and software capabilities enable these features. The hardware interfaces can be configured to function as Boundary Clocks (BC) or Transparent Clocks (TC). These allow for tailored deployment options based on customer requirements. In integrating and refining PTP within the SONiC framework, achieving outstanding precision in its AsterNOS Enterprise Distribution, the 25G switches meet the criteria for PTP Class C, maintaining a maximum time deviation of no more than 10 nanoseconds.
