We value your business and want to ensure your satisfaction with our products and services.
This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted for purchases made through www.asteraix.com
1. General Return Policy
Asteraix accepts returns for eligible products purchased directly from our website within 30 calendar days of the delivery date, subject to the terms below.
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with all packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation.
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be issued by Asteraix before the product is shipped back.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of our products, certain categories are non-returnable:
- Customized or build-to-order products, including specially configured network switches, optical modules, and pre-programmed devices.
- Software licenses, activation keys, or digital downloads are once the product has been delivered or activated.
- Opened or used items not in their original packaging.
- Products showing signs of installation, modification, or tampering.
- Clearance, promotional, or final sale items are marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase.

3. Return Authorization (RMA) Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our support team at support@asteraix.com with your order number, product name, and reason for return.
- Our representative will review your request and, if approved, issue an RMA number and return instructions.
- Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the return package.
- Ship the product to the return address provided, using a trackable and insured shipping method.
Returns sent without an RMA or to an incorrect address may experience delays or be rejected.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Asteraix (e.g., defective or incorrect item).
4. Inspection and Restocking Fee
All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- Products found to be in new and resalable condition will qualify for a full or partial refund.
- Returns that are missing components, damaged, or show signs of use may incur a restocking fee of up to 20% of the product’s price.
- Products that do not pass inspection will be returned to the customer at their expense.
5. Refund Process
Once your return is approved and processed, refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Please allow 7–10 business days after receipt and inspection for the refund to appear on your account.
- Shipping, handling, and insurance costs are non-refundable.
- If your purchase included promotional discounts or free shipping, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.
Asteraix reserves the right to refuse or limit refunds in cases of excessive returns, misuse, or suspected fraud.
6. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product:
- Notify support@asteraix.com within five (5) business days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description of the problem.
- Our team will assess the claim and arrange for replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
Asteraix may issue a prepaid return label for verified warranty or shipping errors.
7. Cancellations
Orders for standard products may be canceled prior to shipment by contacting our support team.
However:
- Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled and must follow the return process.
- Orders for customized, configured, or build-to-order products cannot be canceled once production has begun.
8. Warranty Claims
Certain Asteraix hardware products may be covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty.
If your item experiences functional issues after the initial 30-day return period, please contact support@asteraix.com with proof of purchase to initiate a warranty claim or repair request.
Warranty coverage does not extend to misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modification.
9. Exceptions and Special Cases
Asteraix reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.
Any such exceptions will be confirmed in writing by our customer service department.
